we are pleased to announced the following organization change in our Japan Air Gases operations:

• Reinforcement of our sales regional organization by the Creation of 4 Areas (East Japan, Chubu, Kansai, West Japan) replacing the 10-Region based sales structure. These reinforced areas supported by our local sales offices will ensure both local presence to our customers and partners and critical mass to develop value added offerings and costs efficient solutions.
• Reinforcement of our Business Divisions (Electronics, Industrial Merchant, Large Industry and healthcare) which will have increased responsibility both in business development and production and supply chain.

• Our “Industrial Merchant” business is to provide gases, either pressurized in cylinders, or in liquid state in storage tanks, for use in a wide range of industrial processes, to customers who are grouped in five domains: Automotive and Manufacturing, Craftsmen and Distributors, Food and Pharmaceuticals, Materials and Energy, Technology and Research.
• Our “Electronics” business is to provide specialty gases, ultra-pure gases, and other high added-value products and services, customers in the fields of semic-conductors, flat panels, and solar cells.
• Our “Large Industries” business is to provide gases in large quantity through pipeline to customers in such fields as refining, chemicals, energy and metallurgical industries.
• Our “Healthcare” business is to provide hospitals with medical gases, hygiene products and related medical equipment.
