July 30 to Aug 1, Japan Air Gases accepted school teachers for
"training at private company".
This training for school
teachers is held every year sponsored by Keizai Koho Center,
aiming to deepen correct understanding of company activities by
actual experience of the company activity, and to reflect the
experience in the training.
It was the 3rd year to accept
such a training for Japan Air Gases, 6 teachers from elementary
school and middle school of Yokohama City participated. Teachers
learnt industrial and medical gases supplied by Japan Air Gases
are used in the daily life by visit and explanation of corporate
profile, production plant of oxygen and nitrogen, filling and
delivery center of specialty gases for semiconductors, research
and technology development center. |

Moreover, the experiment show with
the liquid nitrogen which our company is working on was performed
for schoolchildren as on-the-job training, and fun side of chemistry
was passed on to the children. Teachers commented: "We learnt about
safety and teamwork.", "I would like to utilize what we have
experienced and tell my children as much as possible."
Our company wish to continue this
training to help industrial gas being understood and, and as a
chance to deepen mutual understanding with an educational site in
the future.
