We regret to inform that following our recent internal
investigation we found out that in some limited cases we
inappropriately measured liquid product delivered to our customer in
a different way that the one that was expected by our customers,
without getting the formal agreement of the customer. Even if our
understanding is that this practice did not lead to any overbilling
or financial penalty to the concerned customers, such conduct is
totally against our Code of Conducts that formulates our compliance
policies and respect of the expectations of our customers. We
sincerely would like to apologize to the customers who are concerned
and other stakeholders for this wrong practice and for the
inconvenience that the case entails.
This practice impacted around 70 customers out of the more than
15,000 customers we serve every day in Japan.
